LOUIS – A case of sidewalk squatters has reached a crisis point in south St. Louis.A man and woman have been living for years in a homemade shelter made from blankets and shopping carts in front of actual neighborhood houses at South Spring Avenue and Chippewa Street. JENNINGS, Mo. – Resignations are piling up in a northern St. Louis suburb after what's described as an out-of-the-blue attempted ousting of the city attorney.The FOX Files can confirm the city attorney, city clerk, accounting coordinator, and the building's department manager have all departed the City of Jennings. Three of the resignations came on Tuesday. COLUMBIA, Mo. – Governor Mike Parson officially signed legislation Tuesday giving college coaches in Missouri a more active role in endorsement opportunities for their athletes.In two weeks, not only will Faurot Field in Columbia be packed for the first Mizzou football game of the season, but a new Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL) law will go into effect, allowing in-state high school students to be able to cash in on endorsement deals once the athlete signs on."This is going to make us competitive," President of the University of Missouri System Mun Choi said during Tuesday's bill signing.A new Missouri law overseeing how college athletes make a profit from their endorsement rights is being called one-of-its-kind in the nation."I hope that true sons and true daughters of Missouri now are going to be able to stay in the state and receive their education and compete here in Missouri," Sen. LOUIS – Several questions remain in the investigation into what caused an eruption of gunfire on Lindell Boulevard and Spring Avenue, feet away from the northern edge of St. Louis University’s campus.A suspect is in custody, police say. Three suspects have been taken into custody after a high-speed, multi-county pursuit in eastbound lanes of the 210 Freeway that involved both the Los Angeles Police Department and the California Highway Patrol. The chase of the three residential burglary suspects was initiated by LAPD in the area of Sylmar just before 6 p.m. Shortly before 6:30 p.m., CHP took over as lead agency in the pursuit. Sky5 caught up to the pursuit as it was in eastbound lanes of the 210 Freeway at Wheatland Avenue and continued through Pasadena, eventually, making its way into San Bernardino County.
