Pride month is off and running.Trejo's Coffee and Donuts unveiled special treats to honor the occasion. 33-Year-Old Man Struck and Killed by Driver Near Hughes LaneBAKERSFIELD, CA (June 1, 2023) – Monday night, a pedestrian-auto collision along Highway 119 left Ignacio Alejandro Razo with fatal injuries.The deadly incident occurred on May 15th at around 10:07 p.m. near Highway 99, east of Hughes Lane.Based on the initial investigation, the vehicle hit the pedestrian walking along Taft Highway in South Bakersfield. However, the circumstances that led up to the collision remain unclear.Eventually, medical responders arrived at the scene and transported the pedestrian to Kern Medical for significant injuries.At around 12:27 a.m. on May 16th, the male victim succumbed to his injuries. Later, the Kern County Coroner’s Office identified the deceased pedestrian as 33-year-old Ignacio Alejandro Razo.At this time, it was unclear whether drugs or alcohol contributed to the fatal collision. Ukiah Woman Dead and 1 Injured After Vehicular Accident near NavarroMENDOCINO COUNTY, CA (June 1, 2023) – Early Wednesday morning, a single-vehicle crash on State Route 128 claimed the life of Christa Brodsky of Ukiah.The incident occurred on May 10th, at around 12:50 a.m. along State Route 128 near Navarro.According to the CHP, an Isuzu box truck, driven by 43-year-old Timothy Marino, veered off the road and collided with a tree. 39-Year-Old Man Pronounced Dead after Car Accident near Jones BoulevardLAS VEGAS, NV (June 1, 2023) – Early Friday morning, a solo-car collision on US-95 claimed the life of Jonathan Brenha.The crash occurred on May 17th, at around 3:46 a.m. near the Jones Boulevard off-ramp.According to Nevada State Patrol, a man failed to maintain his traveling lane causing him to crashed into a pole. OAKLAND, Calif. (KRON) -- One of the oldest continuously operating LGBTQ+ bars in the country is located in Oakland. The White Horse Bar just celebrated its 90th anniversary last month.The bar has a new owner who hopes to continue to build its legacy."It was a safe place then, it's a safe place now," said owner Patty Dingle.The White Horse on Telegraph Avenue in Oakland poured its first drink in 1933. Since then, it's continued to be safe haven for those in the LGBTQ+ community."From what I read it's never been raided," Dingle said.
