Antioch police search for missing man (KRON) -- The Antioch Police Department is searching for a man who has not been seen since leaving an assisted living home. Michael Dunbar was last seen at TreVista Assisted Living, located at 3950 Lone Tree Way. He is considered at-risk due to medical conditions. Police did not say when he was last seen, or what clothes he was wearing. Anyone who sees Dunbar is asked to call (925) 778-2441 or 9-1-1.

No charges for officer in Sean Monterrosa shooting, State AG announces (BCN) -- California Attorney General Rob Bonta announced Tuesday that a Vallejo police officer who fatally shot a man amid George Floyd-related protests in 2020 will not face criminal charges. Detective Jarrett Tonn shot and killed Sean Monterrosa, a 22-year-old San Francisco resident, outside of a Walgreens store on Redwood Street early on June 2, 2020, as Monterrosa was on a knee and unarmed.Tonn later testified in an arbitration hearing that he believed Monterrosa was reaching for a gun so he fired five shots through the windshield of a police vehicle. Authorities later determined Monterrosa had a hammer but no firearm in his possession. Two killed after car hits tree in Campbell (KRON) -- Two men were killed in a crash in Campbell on Monday, the Campbell Police Department said. The men were killed when their car struck a tree on the San Tomas Expressway near Budd Avenue. The crash happened at about 1 p.m., and both victims died at the scene. Mountain View crash at Sonia and Miramonte leaves two teens with major injuries This week has seen a number of fatal crashes across the Bay Area as wet weather continues in the region. In the East Bay, a non-weather-related crash claimed the lives of three people when a car's tire blew out on Interstate 680 near Pleasanton.
