ST. LOUIS COUNTY, Mo. – A man charged with exposing himself in the breakfast line at a Sunset Hills La Quinta Inn was recently sentenced for a similar sex crime.Kirkwood residents said they were surprised he wasn’t locked up due to his long list of offenses.Kenny Lamont Johnson, 35, is well known to the stores at Big Bend and Kirkwood Road.Court records show Johnson was banned from the entire Kirkwood Commons Shopping Center after a 2022 sex case.“Everybody knows him,” a woman, who did not want to be identified, told us. Atlanta Braves star Ronald Acuna Jr. was confronted and taken down by two fans who ran onto the field at Coors Field on Monday night during a game between the Rockies and Braves.Acuna, who was in right field for the Braves during the bottom of the seventh inning, was first approached and hugged by a fan who appeared to be attempting to take a selfie with the National League MVP favorite. The California Highway Patrol is investigating after a person's burned body was found near a freeway off-ramp in downtown Los Angeles.The body was found around 4:55 p.m. Monday, near the 10 Freeway off-ramp at Maple Avenue.Los Angeles Fire Department crews responded to the scene, as well as the Los Angeles Police Department, where they found the burned body at the bottom of the off-ramp near some "construction containers."Because of the condition of the person's body, a death investigation began. At this time, authorities have not said if homicide is suspected.LAPD eventually ceded the investigation to the CHP, which closed the affected off-ramp.The Los Angeles County Coroner's Office was called to the area and CHP investigators remained on the scene. The investigation is ongoing but drivers are encouraged to avoid the area as traffic may be moving slowly. (KRON) -- A teenaged boy was struck by a car driven by a bank robber who was fleeing from deputies in San Lorenzo, according to the Alameda County Sheriff's Office. Numerous people called 911 Monday afternoon to report that Citibank was being robbed at 429 Paseo Grande. The thief passed a note to a bank teller threatening to blow up the bank if they didn't hand over $20,000, the Sheriff's Office said. The robber fled from the bank in the sedan at 3:45 p.m. Nearby sheriff's deputies chased the sedan. At the intersection of Via Granada and Via Cordoba, the sedan struck a juvenile, investigators said. Deputies terminated the pursuit and helped the victim. The teenaged victim suffered non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to a hospital.
