Cameron Diaz has a number of fans who probably won’t be happy with the news that their first chance to see her in a movie in nearly a decade has been thrown “into chaos” because her co-star Jamie Foxx had a “meltdown” and fired a bunch of people involved in the production.Diaz and Foxx have been in London since December filming “Back in Action,” an action-comedy for Netflix, People reported. The movie marks Diaz’s first film since 2014, when she co-starred with Foxx in an adaptation of the Broadway musical “Annie.”But The Sun reported that the production hasn’t gone smoothly. Foxx fired an executive producer, two directors and even his own driver, making himself “pretty unpopular” in the process, The Sun said.“There have been some issues on set and Jamie has had a major meltdown over it all,” a source told The Sun.Sources close to Diaz have told a difference story, with one telling People: R...Matchbox Twenty returns with new music and plenty of California shows

By Rob Picheta | CNNThe International Criminal Court (ICC) on Friday issued an arrest warrant for Russian President Vladimir Putin and Russian official Maria Lvova-Belova for an alleged scheme to deport Ukrainian children to Russia. The court said there “are reasonable grounds to believe that Mr Putin bears individual criminal responsibility” for the alleged crimes, for having committed them directly alongside others, and for “his failure to exercise control properly over civilian and military subordinates who committed the acts.”The charges, which relate to an alleged practice that CNN and others have reported on, are the first to be formally lodged against officials in Moscow since it began its unprovoked attack on Ukraine last year.It remains unlikely that a trial at The Hague will go ahead; Russia is not a member of the ICC and the court does not conduct trials in absentia, so any Russian officials charged would either have to be handed over by Moscow or a...Several injured in felony DUI hit-and-run in Santa Rosa

WASHINGTON (AP) — President Joe Biden on Friday called on Congress to allow regulators to impose tougher penalties on the executives of failed banks, including clawing back compensation and making it easier to bar them from working in the industry.Biden wants the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation to be able to force the return of compensation paid to executives at a broader range of banks should they fail, and to lower the threshold for the regulator to impose fines and bar executives from working at another bank. He called on Congress to grant the FDIC those powers after the failures of Silicon Valley Bank and Signature Bank sent shockwaves through the global banking industry.“Strengthening accountability is an important deterrent to prevent mismanagement in the future,” Biden said in a statement. “Congress must act to impose tougher penalties for senior bank executives whose mismanagement contributed to their institutions failing.”Currently the FDIC can only take back the comp...Latest news
