There's a high demand for a front-row seat to watch the turnaround at the University of Colorado under Deion “Coach Prime” Sanders. Or so the soaring ticket sales indicate. The Buffaloes sold 11,273 single-game tickets Wednesday, the largest one-day total for individual games in team history. The school already sold out of its season-ticket allotment, marking the first time that's happened since 1996.The demand has been through the roof since Sanders took over the downtrodden program in early December. (CNN) — Two employees of Donald Trump moved boxes of papers at Mar-a-Lago a day before the Justice Department visited the former president’s residence to collect classified documents, The Washington Post reported Thursday. The Post, citing people familiar with the matter, reported that investigators view the timing – just before FBI agents and a prosecutor visited the Florida resort to recover the documents sought as part of a subpoena – as a potential sign of obstruction.Investigators have evidence, the newspaper reported, that the former president kept classified documents in a visible place in his office and had shown them to others. He also allegedly conducted “a ‘dress rehearsal’ for moving sensitive papers” along with his team before they were subpoenaed in May 2022, according to the report.CNN previously reported that following the May 2022 subpoena – which former president wanted to fight – federal prosecutors had a June meeting at Mar-a-Lago during which they were shown docu...Surveillance video shows shooting on sidewalk in Roxbury; City leaders speak out after other recent incidents

Boston city leaders spoke out Thursday after a recent uptick in violence that included three shootings in three days this week.On the same day that the family of a man killed in a recent shooting shared details about their loved one’s life, Commissioner Michael Cox and Mayor Michelle Wu also discussed efforts to curb the violence.“We’re here and we care,” Cox said. “From our perspective, people need to understand this is a safe city. We can be safer with the public’s help.”On Wednesday, surveillance video captured the moment shots rang out along a sidewalk close to a liquor store on Shawmut Avenue. In one angle, a man in a red hoodie is seen walking up the street with his hands in his pocket. Video then showed the man pulling a gun and opening fire into a crowd of people, narrowly missing one man. Another man is then seen coming out of a building and shooting back. Another angle showed people scrambling to safety, with one young girl at one point ducking behind a black sedan as...Service Disruptions Coming To Red Line, And Even The New GLX

Five months after the T slowed trains across its system, causing delays and disruptions for riders, the new general manager said Thursday that the MBTA has made “some further progress” on lifting the slow zones, but “we have a lot more to do.”Across all four subway lines, the MBTA lifted 66 speed restrictions in April and May. The restrictions were put in place after parts of the track were found to be unsafe for trains to run at full speed. There are still 204 restrictions in place system-wide, representing 20 percent of all tracks.June Red and Green Line RepairsThe T cut service to Blue and Red Lines this spring to find extra time to make repairs. Going into June, the MBTA will be focusing repairs on southern sections of the Red Line, where widespread slow zones have caused major rider delays, and even the northern Green Line extension — the newest tracks, most of which have only been open for roughly seven months. The Green Line extension, which start...Kyle Hendricks goes 4⅓ innings in his 1st start for the Chicago Cubs in almost a year: ‘Like a breath of fresh air’

Two hours before Kyle Hendricks stepped on the mound for his first big-league start in nearly 11 months, Chicago Cubs pitching coach Tommy Hottovy outlined one goal he had for the veteran. It didn’t center on numbers — pitching line or velocity — but rather how Hendricks would respond to adversity Thursday night against the New York Mets.“Anybody can pitch when things are going well,” Hottovy said. “I want to see him, if he gets out of whack mechanically on a pitch or he loses a couple, how quick he can make those adjustments. When he’s at his best, he’ll miss one and then lock it right back in right away.“Obviously we’re not expecting him to be midseason form, peak Kyle, but his ability to make those adjustments and stick to what he needs to do in those moments is going to be key.“It’s been almost a year since he pitched in a game here. He’s going to be pretty excited and how can you handle those moments? ...Texas lawmakers issue 20 articles of impeachment against state Attorney General Ken Paxton

By ACACIA CORONADO and JAKE BLEIBERG (Associated Press)AUSTIN, Texas (AP) — Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton teetered on the brink of impeachment Thursday after years of scandal, criminal charges and corruption accusations that the state’s Republican majority had largely met with silence until now. In an unanimous decision, a Republican-led House investigative committee that spent months quietly looking into Paxton recommended impeaching the state’s top lawyer on 20 articles, including bribery, unfitness for office and abuse of public trust. The House could vote on the recommendation as soon as Friday. If it impeaches Paxton, he would be forced to leave office immediately. The move sets up what could be a remarkably sudden downfall for one of the GOP’s most prominent legal combatants, who in 2020 asked the U.S. Supreme Court to overturn Joe Biden’s victory. Only two officials in Texas’ nearly 200-year history have been impeached. Paxton has been ...Div. 1 state track: Boys sting like A-B
